These are another example of why I love them

Never Enough Nude & Candy Burst

These have nice packaging and a good amount of product

They do go on smooth but if you have dry lips, I suggest a small amount of balm underneath these as they do dry slightly

Also maybe a gloss on top or balm to keep lips quenched

The Lipliner is amazing.

It is the perfect Nude color and I wore it with both colors

It goes on smooth and rich and stays put for hours

Benefit HIGH BEAM Complexion Enchancer Review & Swatch

I have to say I love Benefit products, they never fail me

I use the Watts Up highlighter, FakeUp Concealer and the Rockatuer Blush

Also for all my eyeshadow swatches I use the Stay Don't Stray Primer

To say the least they have great products and this is another that I fell in love with.

This satiny pink highlighter accents your cheekbones and brow bones for a radiant glow.

Use this on the high planes of your face for a pearlescent  look that makes you look like the light hits in all the right spots.

On the left side is the swatch that was not rubbed in so I could show a more thicker variation

*DO NOT USE PRODUCT THIS WAY ON YOUR FACE*

The right side is blended into the skin with a few rubs also with camera flash on so it looks like diamonds on my skin

But boy does it work and illuminates the areas you put it on. Very beautiful in soft lighting.

I recommend this during the evening for a moonlight glow under the stars

 

I give this a 9/10

For the fact that during the day it is a bit too shimmery

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Wear Blush in Natural Beauty

I have never used Tarte blushes before because I have heard they dry out the skin and also are too pigmented for some people

SO I gave it a go and bought this shade in "Natural Beauty"

and boy is it PINK!

I normally would not get a shade so bright, I tend to stay more on a peach or pale pink side

but decided, eh what the heck!

The packaging is nice, and the pressed stamp is cute as well

I like the fact that it is in a compact with a mirror. I can never get enough of mirrors.

(vain much?)

It seems very sturdy and easy to open which I like.

ALso there is alot of the product inside, unlike most cosmetics where you get a thin layer and a huge compact

Here we are with the swatch. I slightly blended this in with my hand, maybe two light rubs and as you can see it is still very pigmented.

But alas you can easily blend this.

It is very creamy and not heavy whatsoever

It has a harsh pink shade with rose undertones but looks amazing on the apples of the cheeks for a pop of flush

I do not recommend using this to contour

I know some new to the makeup world use any blush to contour and shade which is not the case.

 

If this shade seems too dark. try a luminescent over it.

Like Benefit "High Beam" or M.A.C Mineralize sheer highlighter

 

It will appear softer and give it a diffused glow

 

I give this a 7/10

Basically because the pigmentation is a bit much and they should make these shades softer

Tarte Kiss & Makeup 5-piece Holiday Amazonian ButterLipsticks Review & Swatches

I purchased these from QVC on a whim.  I normally dislike anything from Tarte because previous items had clogged my pores and made my skin even more dry than usually thanks to the amazonian clay.

But I heard they have reformulated their products since and I decided to give them a go with these.

I am a lipstick lover and found these to be quite enticing. You think "Butter" and automatically your mind says, "Soft, smooth, creamy"..

Well with that in mind. That is true with these lipsticks.

This set is amazing!!

They glide on like butta!!!   seriously.

And the smell! Oh so peppermint divine!  It smells like the holiday with each and everyone of these lush sticks

I adore the packaging. I like anything when it comes to different cases for products. I love M.A.C, don't get me wrong, but all the cases are the same. I have to open each one to see what color it is because the writing is so small I can never tell.

But these are individual and have their own color scheme.

Plus look how cute!!  The beautiful trees and flowers. It reminds me of something japanese.

Aren't these colors just beautiful?

Pigmented and glossy!!

Colors from left to right:

Candy Red: A delicious red that looks like a candied apple

Pink Poinsettia: A pouty pink that has a rose tint

Merry Berry: A lush berry color with a hint of mauve

Sweet Peach: This is a pink/peach that has a slight hint of coral to it

Angelic Nude: A lovely nude/ pale Taupe with a rose shimmer

I give these a 10/10

They are pigmented but they feel amazing on the lips, and with the addition of peppermint that gives it a buzz for plumping as well

And the packaging is awesome

Mally Evercolor Eyeshadow Sticks Review & Swatches

Evercolor Stick in "TWILIGHT" show here

I have never tried any of Mally's products until a few days ago. I purchased them of QVC.com

because I was interested in the "Laura Mercier" Caviar sticks.

And I could not find those in any store near me to try them. 

SO I decided to look for a copycat of those and found some amazing High Quality sticks in these.

I purchased 3 in the below shades

 

 

 From left to right:

Deep Plum: a very dark plum almost a prune color with metallic lighter purple undertones

Plum: a mauve plum with blue and purple undertones

Twilight: a light brown with very bright golden undertones

Here are the sticks when they are smudged

I love the effect they give, they are wonderful for a smoky eye and they blend so easily. These are creamy but with a velvet feeling and just with these swatches I had to use an eye makeup remover to take them off. 

So when it comes to long lasting, these are a go to item

In all, I give these a 10/10

For long lasting highly pigmented color that is smooth and does not crease

I will be reviewing the collection from QVC shortly. I ordered a kit of these bad boys!!

Update and What's to come in November

Sorry its been a few weeks since I have last updated. I have been battling with a severe Kidney Infection and it has exhausted me to the brink of sleeping most of the day.  I am slowly starting to recover and writing out new blog ideas and reviews.  
First off, I have a few things coming from Sephora to review, not much, but some lipsticks and glosses, since it is that time of year where I do start to wear lipstick instead of just a sheer gloss.

Secondly. I signed up to try and receive some Blog/Vlog samples from GlamourDollEyes.
I heard of this place through ZadiDoll, a well known beauty blogger so I thought I would give it a go, and I also made a few purchases as well.  So when that Arrives, or if I get a response from them, I will be doing a review.

So around Halloween I will be doing a huge review on a palette that I am enjoying tremendously.
The Kat Von D "Spellbinding" Palette and the 10 Kat Von D Mini Lipstick set.
Swatches for those all will be up before halloween.  ALso I will be doing an EOTD (eye of the day) Tutorial using those shadows.

November 1st is my birthday so I am going to also do a Birthday look as well. ;)

O have so many products that I have not reviewed yet that I am making plans for. So stay tuned for that.

On another note with my 2 Sub boxes Ipsy and Birchbox,  I have decided to drop Ipsy.
In my honest opinion I have never received anything worthy of keeping them. I continually get NYX Cosmetics, and yes, I know they are a popular brand among some, but being a makeup professional, I find the products to be cheap, not very pigmented and too powdery to stay on even using my primer.  I have bought plenty of NYX when it first became available and in all honesty, I do not prefer the brand. Plus Ipsy sends me things that I said I did not prefer to be in my bag. Such as BigSexyHair,  all the time. I wanted no hair products.  But every month there they are.  Ipsy seems more for those who are just starting out in the makeup world. 

Birchbox on the other hand sends super small samples, BUT, they are more high end cosmetics, perfumes and skin care products and because of them I have found some things that I truly adore and that I purchased full sized from their website. Plus I love their points system.  And when it comes to any issues, they are immediate with a response and always deliver.  Whereas Ipsy, came broken, torn, busted and never even shipped me another product or refund.  Any company that has an issue with a client who's products were broken or missing upon arrival should correct their mistakes.

Anyways!  I seen this other sub box that is hella more expensive called "Wantable" but it is all full size and more high end.  So, I am giving that a try next month.

I really wish I could afford more different types of products to review for you all, but times are hard :)

My Fall Favorites

Hey everyone. I decided to do a little show of my Fall Favorites. Technically it isn't Fall yet but these are the items I just started to use and fell in love with. I am using these all season long!!  

Check it out!!

So every season us makeup junkies have some sort of new trend we start to do, the weather changes and so does our skin and skin tones. So it is high useful to try new themes and new items for each season to change it up a bit and stay trendy in the MU world.  I went on a huge haul
 (this is not nearly all the items)
And these are what I found most stunning for the fall season.
I hope you enjoy and eventually try some!

This is the Coastal Scents Neutral Mirage Palette.  It comes with 88 wonderfully Fall Themed shadows that are a combination of Matte and Shimmer/Metallic

LEFT TO RIGHT VERTICAL

• The first 24 shades are more Pink and White shades that are good for a lid base and shading also highlighting and possibly contouring around the eyes and nose area if you choose a matte color
• The next set of 40 shades are Golden and orange tones with a slight set of Taupe colors as well. These are beautifully pigmented and remind me of the desert and beautiful fall leaves. These are blendable and look amazing on all skintones. There is also some wonderful coral colors along these as well that mix for a beautiful blend of sunset looking eyes.
• The Third set of colors are Green, Blue and Plum shades that are amazing and work well with the gold sets. These are easily described as Foliage colors and Plum/ Mauve for earthy tones. There also seems to be a bit of Greys in there as well for some sexy, sultry Stormy Looks..

All in all this is a perfect Palette for Fall.  I love the blending capabilities of this, they are super pigmented and not powdery at all.  I get virtually no fallout during the process of placing these on my eyes and if you use a good Primer, these colors really pop.!!!

Next is the TOOFACED "Better than Sex" Mascara.  And boy can I tell you, it may be close to sex in my book.  I have shorter asian style lashes and I usually buy Lancome Oscillation Mascara but this really blows it away and half the price of Lancome as well.  This really heightens and lengthens your lashes on a whole new level of "WOW"  I had to buy my mom a tube as well.  This is really my new fave item!

Last but not least in "MAC Rapidblack PenLiner"
I love, love, love liquid pen liners for that sexy pinup cat eye look, and this blows me away and how this and precise it is to create that perfect smoldering cat eye.  Super black, one of the darkest liner colors available in my opinion and stays put until you want it to come off.

I always get asked this question and the answer is!

DR. JART BB BALM Black Label Detox Blend!!!

This stuff is super great for covering any flaws in your face and buffing them out into perfection. It is super silky and has a great Texture.  Often BB creams would give me small bumps on my face because I am super sensitive, but this. OMG. It is amazing 

If you haven't tried a BB Cream due to high sensitivity, you gotta get some of this. Sephora stores would gladly give you samples to last for quite some time to see how it works on your skin. This is also a Universal color that matches anyones skintone unless you are very dark, in that case there is a deeper toned BB cream.

Lips, Lips, Lips Ladies!!

We must keep them smooth and fine right?

I just started to use this only because of the scent, and I am so glad I did.

I have larger plump lips that tend to crack easily and most balms are chunky and do not help whatsoever in the chapping department.

This specific one here is in the scent 

"Clove Cigarette"

No, it does not smell like a cigarette at all, but it has the lovely smell of cloves 

Flavor Notes: Crushed Clove, Lavender Rose, Saigon Cinnamon, Vanilla Bean

This is made with Jasmine and Bee Balm to hydrate and replenish your lips.

Tokyomilk has a large selection of different scents to suit your fancy.

Everytime I put this on it makes me yearn for a Starbucks Chai Latte !

Yummy, you smell soooo good!

I am a huge Perfume nut. I have to have tons to fit my everyday attitude and appearance.

I usually go for more Organic smelling scents and boy does this one hit the rim of Yum!

Same as the Tokyomilk Balm above, this is made by the same brand and smells so irresistible and luscious that you can drown yourself in it.

Tainted Love No 62

Fragrance Notes: Dark Vanilla Bean, Orchid, White Tea, Sandalwood

This is such an earthy sexy smell.

I can tell you this, my boyfriend has allergies and does not like the smell of most fragrances, but he cannot keep his hands off me when I wear this ;)

Sadly this little doosy  is out of stock for the time being, Luckily I just bought this last week.

And last but not least!

 Ugh!!   I love to have sensual highlights on my face that look radiant and sunkissed.

This MAC Mineralize Skin Finish is a true find. 

It has such dimension and depth that is truly changes your face into something ethereal.

Soft and lightweight it has notes of White, pink and gold in the mix for a dewy finish. I use this on the high planes of my face for a soft glow.

August Birchbox & Ipsy Fail

Sorry that I am tardy to the party everyone. I have been super disappointed with BirchBox and Ipsy this month. 

First off my Birchbox came a little late and I was missing 2 products from my box and one of the items was completely empty!!!   So I contacted BB and they were supposed to have sent me a replacement box but I still have not gotten it.  Sad to say the Items that were in my box were pretty horrible   My BB replacement is supposed to be here today. They said up to 10 days, and today is the 10th day, they also did not send any tracking.  :/

Here is what was in the BB that I received.

This Months Theme was "Finishing School"

Ok, First off, I do not see where the term "Finishing School" applies to anything they sent in this box.

If you have a different opinion, Please leave a comment below and let me know if you think it was appropriate for this month.

Alright. I was supposed to have gotten this kit in my BB, but it was not in there so I got in contact with Benefit and they sent me one.  I was not impressed with the amount in the samples, way too small of a portion. It will not cover a face.

PUR-ELISE Pur Youth Reserve

This was empty in my box. The cap off and whatever was inside had dried into a crusty consistency.

I was unhappy That I could not really do a review on this, Let alone BB gives such small samples that you really cannot do an actual review.  It takes more than one use to see any type of change.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in "Beso"

I actually already have this.  It was ULTA.COM's July Free Gift for any online purchase  :/

I think that once the time expires for these free gifts at Ulta, BB gets the rest of the samples for a cheap price and sends them out.

I do not really like this formula, it dries quickly and it bleeds out. The color is nice but it could be duped with NYX Matte Lip Gloss in Red.  AT least I can say I did not get the Party Proof Lipstick by ModelCo.  I hate that brand...

Kerastase Chroma Riche

Yet again, more mini samples of a product I asked to not get in my profile.  I did try these and it did nothing to my hair whatsoever.  It had an oily feeling afterward like a film over my hair which I did not like.   BB, if your going to send a hair product, quit sending rip open samples. Send an actual deluxe size....

Sumita Contrast Eyeliner

This is the only semi decent item I received this month. The color is rich but it rubs off fairly quickly. Also it is very soft. I would suggest using this just for smudging color for a smokey eye.

All in all. It was a serious let down this month for Birchbox.  If next month does not have something better and all of my items. I will be cancelling my subscription

IPSY FAIL!!!!!

So I waited oh so anxiously for my Ipsy bag this month, But apparently DHL had some setbacks and I did not receive it until August 20th.  The Package was open and the only thing inside was a card saying there will be discounts this month for the products in our bags.

Ipsy took 3 days to respond by saying they will send me a replacement bag but not with the items originally intended for my bag.

NOT COOL!!!

I read on Ipsy's Facebook that hundreds had this issue and people are very angry.

But!!!  Ipsy refuses to change the shipping. I would rather see USPS deliver my bag that DHL who seems to open peoples bags and steal items..

So here is to hoping I get something decent.  As above stated for BB, if Ipsy cannot handle correct shipping and a replacement box doesn't have what was intended. Then I will be cancelling that as well....

On a side note. I have been doing major beauty hauls this past week so my next blog will be everything I have bought with swatches!!
